Bethany Monahan | Manager of Business Operations and Special Client Projects
Bethany supports the Ignite Philanthropy team by managing the company’s business operations, finance and human resources activities. She also works closely with clients to facilitate campaign planning and implementation.
Bethany joins Ignite Philanthropy with meaningful experience performing development functions and growing outreach and programming in an impactful nonprofit, Music Resource Center-Cincinnati. Bethany served MRC as its Development Manager, and in this role managed donor, digital and media communications and public relations and developed a robust social media presence for the center. As an integral part of the organization, Bethany worked intimately with donors and foundations to grow support for new and existing programs that advanced MRC’s mission. Bethany initially joined MRC as its Development Assistant/Member Coordinator and while in this role, mentored teen clients and performed critical development administrative functions.
Bethany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Wright State University and an Associates of Science from Edison State Community College. She lives in the Wallace Woods neighborhood of Covington with her husband, Jason, her cat, Tonks and dog, Sirius. Bethany enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking, kayaking and camping.
