
Martina Pineda | Manager(She/Her)
As a Manager within the Non-Profit Services Division, Martina is responsible for supporting fundraising campaigns, strategy, and campaign planning engagements for a portfolio of leading non-profits primarily located in the Cincinnati region.
Martina joins Ignite Philanthropy with broad nonprofit experience including a year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA, a program by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) which supports capacity building activities such as fundraising, grant writing, research, and volunteer recruitment for local organizations. Her year of service with AmeriCorps was with Breakthrough Cincinnati, where she also previously served as a middle school Science Teaching Fellow.
Martina was part of “Pandemic Class Eight” of the New Faces of Fundraising program, which is designed to introduce diverse individuals intentionally entering the field of nonprofit fundraising in the Greater Cincinnati nonprofit community. This program was created by the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and is funded by The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF). She is also a two-time Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber Program Alumna, being in Class 4 (2019) of Building Cultural Competence: A Program for Leaders and Class 1 (2022) of CincyLEAD.
Additionally, prior to joining Ignite Philanthropy, Martina worked with various nonprofits in the Greater Cincinnati area on a freelance basis as a marketing and communications consultant, specializing in social media management.
Martina holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education & Promotion from the University of Cincinnati. She received her NCHEC Certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) shortly after graduating and worked as a Virtual Health Guide at Vida Health for over a year. When she’s not at Ignite, you’ll likely find her at the gym working out or exploring Cincinnati with her partner and best friend, Gabe.
