Penny Friedman | Senior Advisor

Penny Friedman was Founder and President of BeneFactors, LLC, a philanthropic consulting firm, which merged into the Health Foundation Fund in 2007 to create InterAct for Change. Penny has over 30 years of distinguished professional and community leadership experience and has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards for her civic involvement. Previously she was real estate portfolio manager for Bartlett & Co., Vice President for Property Development for Taft Broadcasting Company, and an attorney practicing corporate law with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister. After Ignite Philanthropy was created in 2009, Penny retired from full-time work while remaining involved as Senior Advisor for select clients.

Committed to creating strategic change in the community, Penny has held leadership positions in more than two dozen top civic, arts, human services, and religious organizations. Penny continues to volunteer for several nonprofit organizations and was a founding partner of Social Venture Partners Cincinnati. Penny holds a bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan.
