Rachael Parker is a growth-oriented and equity-driven professional with 12+ years of experience in nonprofit management. She specializes in partnership creation for arts and educational institutions, especially diverse and multi-cultural organizations. As a Manager within the Non-Profit Services Division, Rachael is responsible for supporting fundraising campaigns, strategy, and planning campaign engagements for a portfolio of leading non-profits primarily located in the Cincinnati region.

She comes to Ignite from her recent role as the Program Manager of Learning Through Art, Inc., where she designed, developed, and implemented quality performing arts-integrated education, literacy, community development, and engagement through grant support for EMMY winning program, Books Alive! For Kids. Prior to that role, Rachael was the founding Academic and Program Director of the Cincinnati Squash Academy and an AmeriCorps teacher with the inaugural cohort of Teach For America in Southwest Ohio.

With a passion for the arts, Rachael holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and Art History from Berea College. She continues to support the efforts of Berea College, Teach For America, and Leadership for Educational Equity as an active alumna. She has been recognized during her leadership with the ‘Nonprofit of the Year’ Award from the OTR Chamber of Commerce, ‘Community Organization of the Year’ Award from The Gaskins Foundation, and most recently, graduated from the YWCA Rising Star Program in 2023.

Rachael is a longtime resident of the East Walnut Hills neighborhood. In her spare time, you will find the proud Kentucky native rooting for her UK Wildcats, writing, traveling, baking, and enjoying time with friends and family.
