Alison Bloomer

Alison joins the Ignite team with nearly ten years of experience in developing fundraising strategies at various small nonprofit organizations across Cincinnati. Most recently, she worked as a Development Director at Special Olympics Ohio where she led the growth of corporate and foundation partnership strategies. Her prior experience includes data management, grant writing, and event planning at organizations including the UC Foundation, OneSight, and The LAM Foundation.

As Manager at Ignite, Alison creates and implements strategic plans, leads client communications, oversees project deliverables, and drives grant strategies to support clients' philanthropic visions. Alison holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, Philanthropic Studies from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. Alison lives with her husband and their four cats in Southgate, KY and she enjoys spending her time hiking/running, reading, and cooking.
