Kirby Neumann

Kirby is a seasoned leader with more than 20 years of fundraising and non-profit experience. Prior to joining the Ignite Philanthropy team, he led the fundraising division of the Cincinnati Art Museum as the Director of Philanthropy. There, he oversaw all aspects of museum philanthropy, including major gifts, grant-seeking, donor events and fundraisers, annual giving, membership, corporate sponsorship, and development operations. During his nine-year leadership, the museum steadily increased annual fundraising and successfully executed the $65 million “A New View” campaign, the largest comprehensive fundraising campaign in its history.
Kirby also brings client-focused, strategic consulting expertise to Ignite. He previously spent seven years as a Senior Campaign Manager, where he assisted clients in the design and execution of campaigns of all sizes to address capital and programmatic needs.
Kirby was born and raised in Greater Cincinnati and got his BA from the University of Cincinnati. He has also earned the designation of Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). He currently serves on boards for GRAD Cincinnati, the University Club of Cincinnati, and the University of Cincinnati Sigma Sigma alumni group.
Kirby lives in Hebron, KY with his wife Jennifer and two young children, Bryce and Lila.
