Laura Reece

Associate Vice President, Learning & Development

As the AVP of Learning and Development, Laura works closely with each department to identify, develop, and deliver the training and tools team members need to best serve Ignite’s clients. Prior to her current role, Laura spent five years in the Nonprofit Services Division, working closely with clients to facilitate campaign planning and implementation through collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.

Laura comes to Ignite Philanthropy with nonprofit experience in education and the arts. Before joining the company, she spent seven years at GRAD Cincinnati, an organization that works with Cincinnati Public Schools to provide tutoring, after school programming, and college and career readiness services to over 3,000 students in seven low-income schools. During her time with GRAD Cincinnati, Laura played a key role in grant writing, fundraising, program development, and evaluation.

Laura earned a Master of Arts in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management and Art History from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and running marathons. Laura lives in Amberley Village with her husband, Danny, and their dogs Stella and Otis.
