
Rita DiBello
Senior Manager, Non-Profit Services
Rita brings more than a decade of fundraising experience to her role as a Senior Manager in Nonprofit Services. Prior to joining Ignite as a Manager in 2023, she served for 4+ years as Associate Director of Foundation Engagement at the Cincinnati Art Museum, where she managed relationships and grant seeking with all foundation and government grant funders locally and nationally. She also held previous positions at the Cincinnati Ballet and Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, with experience managing annual campaigns, donor stewardship, and volunteer programs.
As a Senior Manager, Rita helps to plan and execute successful campaigns through a nuanced approach to communication, a keen eye for detail, skill in linking big-picture strategy with day-to-day implementation, and a passion for working with nonprofit clients to meet the needs of our communities.
Rita holds an M.A. in English from the University of Kentucky and a B.A. in English and history from Thomas More College. She is a volunteer writer with Women of Cincy, served for 3 years on the National Philanthropy Day planning committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Cincinnati, and is a 2023 graduate of the Leadership Council for Nonprofits’ BOLD program.
Rita is an enthusiastic advocate for her hometown of Covington, KY, where she lives with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and eating delicious food, reading, taking walks, and spending time with her family and friends.
