Please note:

• The Volunteer Gift Program is available to both active employees and retirees of The E.W. Scripps Company.
• You are eligible as a retiree of the E.W. Scripps Company if:
1. You had worked for the company for at least 10 years before leaving, and
2. You were at least 55 years old at the time you left.
• Your volunteer gift may be awarded to any qualifying 501(c)(3) organization, within the United States, where you have been an active volunteer for a minimum of six months.
• Gifts to religious organizations are restricted to secular community services only.
• Deadlines are May 31 and Nov. 30 annually. (May and November submissions could take up to eight weeks to process)
• The Fund uses Ignite Philanthropy for technical support and application maintenance.
• All Volunteer Gift decisions are made by the Foundation.

Is there a minimum amount of volunteer time or level of involvement to qualify for a volunteer gift?
