Clancy Avila | Director, Data Services

As Director of Data Services at Ignite Philanthropy, Clancy oversees the daily operations of the Data Services department, coordinating both internal and external analytics projects. In addition to supporting the Data Services team, Clancy collaborates with Ignite’s Chief Operating Officer to explore innovations in analytics products and processes, ensuring that the department continues to provide effective, data-driven solutions.

Prior to joining Ignite Philanthropy, Clancy spent thirteen years at United Way of Greater Cincinnati, where she started as a Finance temp and progressed to the Analytics & Technology Services team as a Business Intelligence Analyst. In that role, she focused on Salesforce administration, process improvements, data integration and hygiene, and campaign support.

Clancy holds a B.A. in History and developed much of her technical expertise through self-directed learning and hands-on experience.

Outside of work, Clancy enjoys native gardening to support local ecosystems and spending time with her family.
