Simoan Grier | Associate

In the role of Associate, Simoan supports Ignite Philanthropy’s Non-Profit Services Division. In partnership with a team, she supports fundraising strategies and planning for leading non-profits in the Cincinnati region.

Simoan comes to Ignite Philanthropy after interning with the Inspiring Service communications team. She supported local initiatives such as Study Hall, an educational tutor services app that serviced Cincinnati Public Schools, and contributed to Movers & Makers publication as a copyeditor and contributing articles that highlight Cincinnati’s change makers. During this time, she also worked as a social media manager for clients in various industries and assisted with major partnerships. In addition, Simoan has over ten years of experience in healthcare servicing Cincinnati’s most disadvantaged communities.

Simoan is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of The University of Cincinnati where she majored in communications. She spends time with her family, traveling, and exploring Cincinnati’s cultural scene in her spare time.
